The Stuffed Animal Rescue

The event that started it all, our spring collection of stuffed animals from across the nation.

 

Reaching as far back as 2014, when our charity was founded, this event kicked off everything that now goes on today. Each spring, there's a two week long collection where people from across the United States can donate their used stuffed animals to our charity so that they can be put to better use. In the past two years that this has gone on, three years in spring of 2017, we’ve collected over 3,000 stuffed animals from people as far as the opposite end of the country. We have Starbucks and many other local venues for putting up signs and allowing us to use them as a donation center for the past two years. Donations such as this might not mean much, but they truly do make a difference, and we see that every day at StAR. So thank you to those who have donated in the past, helped with donations, or wish they could donate.
